About us

Based at Hebe Haven Yacht Club  in Sai Kung, Sailability Hong Kong Limited's

bi-lingual programs aim to provide sailing opportunities to EVERYONE in Hong Kong irrespective of ability, gender, ethnicity, age, status, sexuality, religion etc.  We are recognised by World Sailing as the most advanced centre in Asia and one of the busiest globally in all we do.  We have representation for Para Sailing with the Hong Kong Sailing Federation (HKSF) and the Asian Sailing Federation (ASAF).  We Chair the Asian Para Sailing Committee and have representation on their Executive Committee to grow what we have in HK within the region.

Sailability’s ethos is a water based experience offering therapeutic, rehabilitation and education whilst improving confidence, communication and technical skills. Mental wellness and self-esteem also improve whilst developing new friendships when joining our accessible and inclusive programs.  We provide a safe environment for people irrespective of their ability or gained life challenges through illness, accident etc to learn to sail, in boats which are safe and provide much enjoyment to all who join us.

We are also able to provide the necessary training and pathway to those having ambition and determination to participate in local regattas, attend international events, represent their country and compete against the more able bodied on a 'level playing field'.

Our sailors, with Physical Disabilities, SEN & ASD have won medals at International events and are looking to win more with  your support.

We are 90% Volunteer led,  receive no regular Government funding  and rely totally on donations from corporates, local organisations, other charities, educational organisations and members of the public.

Our registered charity number is: 91/15775.
